This signed limited edition print is produced on 300gsm Museum Etching paper, in an edition of 100 plus 10 Artist's Proofs, signed and numbered by the artist. Image size 32.3 x 39cm, mounted to 60 x 55.3cm, with a certificate of authenticity included.
About the painting
Master of Ceremonies points to the person who runs the evening: the host who decides when the music starts and who is introduced to whom. Vettriano was fascinated by social ritual, in the dance hall, the bar and the formal dinner, and this title carries his familiar sense of theatre.
It belongs to the side of his work that celebrates evening dress and an old-fashioned sense of occasion, and it suits a dining room or any room used for entertaining.
