As a celebration of Jack Vettriano's greatest works, a premium signed limited edition run of 50+5 of 'The Letter' was released.
This premium limited edition was produced in a very high quality giclee format, then hand embellished with 3 coats of lacquer to give a satin finish. They are board mounted and supplied in the same type of frame that is used for original work. There is no white border around the picture and no glass over the image. All are signed and numbered by the artist in silver pen in the bottom corner of the image.

About the painting
A woman in a pale dress lies on a chaise longue in a quiet room, a letter fallen to the floor beside her. We are left to wonder what it said: good news, bad news, or the end of something.
It is a still, contemplative image, and because this edition is reproduced at the full size of the original painting, framed without glass, it hangs much like the painting itself.
