About the painting
Diva shows a woman applying her lipstick in a small compact mirror, the last touch before she makes her entrance. It is a moment of private preparation, the kind Vettriano loved to paint: the confidence and ritual of getting ready rather than the evening itself.
The close, cropped composition and the warm background make it a striking small picture, and it works especially well in a bedroom or dressing area.

This signed limited edition is printed on 300gsm museum etching paper in an edition of 100 plus 10 Artist's Proofs, each signed and numbered by Jack Vettriano and supplied with a certificate of authenticity. The image measures 25 x 20.8 cm, with a mount size of 41.8 x 48 cm.
