Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do you have a gallery I can visit?

Q: What is an Artist Proof?

A: An artist’s proof (often abbreviated A.P. or AP) is a special subset of a limited edition print run that holds particular significance in the art world.

An artist’s proof is a small number of prints (usually around 10% of the total edition) that are set aside from the main numbered edition for the artist’s personal use, approval, or collection.
If an edition is numbered 1/100 to 100/100, there might also be 10 artist’s proofs marked “A.P. 1/10” to “A.P. 10/10.”
These are identical in image and quality to the regular edition prints — the difference is their purpose and rarity.

• Artist’s proofs are identical in production quality to the standard prints.
• They’re mainly valued for their rarity and direct association with the artist.

A: Jack Vettriano used a variety of publishers for his Limited Edition Prints. Some publishers released Certificates of Authenticity and some didn't. 99% of our prints come with a certificate. If the print does not we will very clear state so and also inform you before delivery.
